Google's Speech to Text API supports Russian language transcription using the "latest_long" model. However, since it does not currently support native video ingest, we first have to extract the audio from the source MP4 video file. Given that these are stereo files, we follow the API's recommendations for multichannel stereo audio extraction and extract to mono right/left channels:
