President Trump's tweets have been a steady fixture on television news, with CNN, MSNBC and Fox News each devoting more than 14 hours over the past year to displaying them onscreen, while even BBC News has spent more than 5 hours showing them. Since his ban earlier this month, however, @realDonaldTrump is finally fading from the television screen. While mentions continued for another week and a half, over the past week his tweets have faded to just a few seconds of airtime a day, as his disappearance from the spotlight continues.
