Similar to how news imagery of masks peaked around April 4 and have faded since, so too have online mentions of masks as a whole, surging around Jan. 20, again Feb. 21, Mar. 13 and peaking on April 4. Mentions slowly faded through June 4 and have remained largely level ever since, though have slightly increased in recent days.
