Covid-19 Pandemic Massively Outpacing Coverage Of Syria, Locusts Or Ebola

American television news stations have run wall-to-wall coverage of the Covid-19 pandemic. Yet, using data from the Internet Archive's Television News Archive from July 2009 through the end of March 2020, we see that the Syrian conflict never received even half as much coverage even in its peak months as Covid-19, the African locust swarm doesn't even register on the graph below and Covid-19 has now surpassed the attention Ebola received at its peak.
