After peaking in July, mentions of "recession" on television news are down sharply.
Looking just since the start of this year, recession typically is mentioned just a handful times a day.
Looking at the total seconds of airtime in which it is mentioned in the onscreen text, on many days it appears for just a few seconds the entire day.
While business channels remain elevated in their mentions, even their coverage is off significantly from earlier this year, though it has been increasingly slightly.
