Yesterday the GDELT Blog reached an incredible milestone: its 800th post! From massive new dataset announcements to helpful tutorials, technical demonstrations to amazing awards, new papers to some of the incredible things people are doing with GDELT, the GDELT Blog has just taken off in ways we could never have dreamed when it first launched three years ago.

Interest in the blog and website has also exploded over that time period, consistently hitting 50,000 to 60,000 pageviews per month, which is just amazing considering that the vast majority of people work directly with GDELT datasets either through the live CSV files or BigQuery.
