The United Arab Emirates' Sharjah TV is among the 9 new channels that form the TV News Visual Explorer's new Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Television News Archive launched last week in collaboration with the Internet Archive’s Television News Archive to help scholars study the rich diversity of television news across the world.
All broadcasts monitored by the Internet Archive's Television News Archive from January 1, 2020 to present from this channel are included in this collection. While the video clips themselves are not yet streamable, all broadcasts are skimmable via the thumbnail interface and broadcasts of interest may be requested via a temporary library loan from the Internet Archive’s library loan program.
