GDELT's Global Frontpage Graph (GFG) launched in March of last year, crossed the 100 billion URL threshold last month. As it approaches 110 billion records this month, each recording one frontpage URL and five attributes describing it, the total dataset now contains 658 billion datapoints. Once again, its worth recognizing just how much data there really is in the news.
