The death of Gina Lollobrigida this week did not garner the international outpouring associated with many celebrity passings, with CNN, MSNBC and Fox in the US and Al Jazeera, DW and RT internationally not mentioning the death at all and BBC News mentioning it just 30 times, but Russian state television found the time amidst its war coverage to cover her death across multiple channels with multiple stories.
