In our first 24 hours of running a GCP Global Load Balancer that has been gradually taking over more and more of data.gdeltproject.org's traffic, it is fascinating to observe that IPv4 and IPv6 traffic is nearly perfectly split for the Americas and Europe, showing that the IP transition is still very much a work in progress, while it is even more interesting to see that our traffic from Asia is almost exclusively IPv4 thus far.
