We're excited to announce that with the most recent flurry of new dictionaries added over this past week, GCAM now draws together 40 different sentiment dictionaries spanning nearly 60 years and covering every imaginable emotion and dimension. Native dictionaries exist for 16 languages. Most excitingly, the native dictionaries don't just cover the usual positive/negative emotions found in most multilingual sentiment systems, but instead cover an incredible range of complex emotions, imagery, motivations, socializations and psychological constructs and representations. In addition, all 65 languages live translated by GDELT are processed by all of the English dictionaries, ensuring the richest collection of multilingual emotional assessments in the world.
