Fox News Dominates "Gold IRA" Mentions On TV News

The Washington Post today examines the "gold IRA" industry in the conservative news ecosystem. Fox News is replete with such ads, such as this one from Rosland Capital. Rosland Capital alone has its name visible on Fox News at least 23 minutes a month over the past two and a half years, advertising almost daily over that period.

In all, there are around 50 minutes a month in which gold as a retirement or investment opportunity is displayed in the onscreen text of Fox News, adding up to more than 33 hours total over the past two and a half years (this counts only the specific screentime in which the text is displayed, not the airtime of the entire ad). Yet, Fox News is unique in this regard among its peers, as seen in the timeline below. Interestingly, mentions appear to have collapsed this month.
