We're excited to announce that the DOC 2.0 API now supports two new search operators: NEAR and REPEAT. The NEAR operator allows you to specify a list of keywords that must appear within a given number of words of each other to count as a match, while the REPEAT operator allows you to require that a keyword appear at least a given number of times in a document, to ensure it is more likely to actually be about that keyword, rather than merely casually mentioning it. Note that neither operator currently supports phrase matching, so NEAR only requires that the specified list of keywords all appear together in a document, while REPEAT requires that the given single keyword appear a certain number of times.
Both operators are fully supported in GDELT Summary.
