Coronavirus Coverage Levels Off At New Peak

Global news coverage of the Coronavirus outbreak has followed the standard epidemic coverage curve, with a late peak around Jan 20-21, peaking on Feb. 2nd, decreasing steadily through Feb 20th, then increasing rapidly and linearly. Over the past 72 hours it appears to be leveling off as coverage hits saturation point and there is no new news to report, but as governments continue announcing mitigation strategies and case numbers increase, another wave of coverage is possible.
