American Television News Devotes Little Attention To Myanmar Coup

In the two weeks since Burma's February 1, 2021 military coup, how much attention has the coup received across television news? The graph below shows the total mentions of the country across a set of television news channels from February 1 through February 11. Unsurprisingly, Al Jazeera leads coverage, followed by BBC News and DW. While CNN does muster 213 mentions, it is just a third of the coverage DW devoted to it and Fox, MSNBC and RT just mention it a few dozen times.
