Yesterday the Smithsonian Magazine released a feature story profiling five of the winners of the Wildlife Crime Tech Challenge, a USAID initiative implemented in partnership with the National Geographic Society, the Smithsonian Institution, and TRAFFIC, of which GDELT was one of 16 Prize Winners out of 300 proposals from 52 countries.
