Our massive collaborative initiative to transcribe the entire Internet Archive Television News Archive has reached 65 million minutes of transcribed broadcasts through Google's Speech-to-Text Chirp ASR model, with large swaths already available in the TV News Visual Explorer. The TV News Archive encompasses selections of television news from 108 channels spanning 50 countries and territories in 35 languages and dialects over 20 years on 5 continents totaling more than 5 million broadcasts over 3.4 million hours of programming.
