The concept of “herd immunity” first entered the television news lexicon on CNN, MSNBC and Fox News in mid-March, fading during the George Floyd protests and emerging again in late June, but has never garnered much attention. CNN has focused on it much more than Fox and MSNBC, with personality-driven shows on all three stations dominating mentions.
